I recently had a romantic escape at Résidence Costa D'Oru, and while it had its quirks, the location truly stole my heart. Nestled on a hill overlooking the stunning Gulf of Saint Florent, the views from our balcony were absolutely unbeatable—perfect for sunset cocktails with my partner! Although we found the apartment quite basic and self-catering, the small kitchenette served us well to whip up a few homemade meals to enjoy on our terrace. The highlight was undoubtedly the outdoor swimming pool; we had the entire place to ourselves, a rare bliss while watching the sun dip over the Mediterranean. The service from Christine and the owner was outstanding—they went above and beyond to help us when our car broke down, ensuring we felt taken care of. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat away from the hustle, this gem is a perfect base for exploring Corsica’s beauty!
